![]() I took my last dose today and am praying that I start to feel somewhat normal tomorrow. I force myself to get up and go to work, take care of my mom and my own house but the second I stop my body crashes. I am exhausted - as if someone sucked every last bit of energy from my body. I’m so used to feeling like crud every day but this has been way worse. I woke on up the morning after my first dose so dizzy I pinballed off the walls trying to get to the bathroom. The headaches / migraines have been so horrific I was nearly in tears. I suffer from migraines and a bad tummy…. It’s been 1 week today… I fought through the symptoms & let me tell you I wasn’t sure I could do it. Went to the dr last week for tue UTI & because I’ve been nauseated for 3 months (puking a couple times a week) they did blood and urine but the Dr prescribed this right away to start treating the UTI. I have had a perpetual UTI for a year… would come and go. It might be killing bacteria, but it feels like it is sucking the life out of me. You could not pay me enough to take this ever again. I believe it was divine intervention that I saw this sight. I called the online nurse and told I will be done taking this med. about two hours after taking my meds, I got really sick again and symptom ramped up again. Half way through the day I ran home to get my meds. Today I forgot to take my meds before I left for work. I also had a tight very dry cough that cause my chest and ribs to hurt. temperate, body aches, nausea, extreme head aches. I got and email that they were prescribing 7 more days. I still was feeling kinda ill, so I went in for a culture. I finished the 5 day course of these pills. terrible headaches body aches and nausea. I started to take this med as I was at the beginning of a UTI. Nitrofurnation, is the worst medication I have ever taken. Doesn’t make the experience any less of a bummer for us all. So this may have a lot to do with the body attempting to heal. The tiredness folks are describing is real, but when the body is fighting things off, our immune response signals “sickness behaviour” which drives us to sleep or rest more. ![]() I’m a 30/F, and I think the meds work, the side effects aren’t horrible but definitely were noticeable. Mostly, the fatigue is what I’m feeling (when I take Advil for the headache, otherwise the headache is blegh). I immediately had water and the feeling subsided. I also woke up this morning dizzy and feeling like I was going to be sick. My lack of caffeine might also be contributing. Pretty constant low-grade headache, though Advil relieves this. I’m on day 2 (dose 4), and side effects have been odd. ![]() I’m drinking tons of water and eating with the medication. This time, I had a much more severe UTI with visible blood and pain.
